It claims to cost only $6 and even lesser if any of the ingredients are bought on discount/sale. So lets see how to make this tasty yet cost efficiet country Pie.

To make country pie you need 1lb ground beef, 14oz of spaghetti sauce, mozzarella cheese and 3-4 cups of uncooked white minute rice. As a first step, brown and then drain the ground beef, add half cup of sauce to the meat. Spread this evenly into a 13×9 dish. Add the remaining sauce to the rice. Spread the rice on the meat. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes at 350. Now remove the foil and bake it uncovered for 15 minutes. Let it stand for 10 minutes. Now your pie is ready to serve with garlic bread or just bread& butter. It can also be served with some veggies or a salad.

The blog states that it serves a family of 3 for two nights (dinner).

I have seen many people confusing frugality with being cheap or stingy. For all such people i define frugality as an efficient way to save your hard earned money and save as much as possible.Frugality is also buying value for hard earned money.

Frugality is not just cutting the cost wherever possible. Sometimes it is also about paying more. Confused? Let me explain. All of us are familiar with the popularity that the bargain outlets are gaining. But how many of us can honestly say that these products are of premium quality?

Eventually we end up buying the same stuff again and again after the first one has met its end, and spend more than necessary.

Instead there is nothing wrong in shelling a few extra bucks in a quality product that will last you for a longer time span. This doesn’t only save money on a long run but also buys satisfaction for the money paid.

So next time you are planning to buy a shoe or hand bag in a bargain outlet, think twice and invest wise!!!
